What is it? This is an EFT, Emotional Freedom Technique, Tapping Workshop. This is a stress management tool that involves tapping your face at “energy hot spots” or meridian points. Tapping at these points in sequence restores your energy balance and can relieve symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused.

What will it entail? Your host will lead you in a tapping sequence where you will tap on your face in different energy hot spots. Within the workshop you will take on a few different sequences led by Alice, each will feel relaxing and "tap" into some different thoughts and feelings.

How long is it? Choose between a 15 minute energizer or full 45 minute workshop.

How much is it? From £335 + VAT (excluding travel costs) for the full workshop, please enquire for the 15 minute energizer.

Where can it be hosted? This experience can be hosted in your office, a venue of your choice. All you will need is space for each guest to sit. If you require an external venue please enquire.

What does a Tapping Workshop involve?

Emotional Freedom Technique or Tapping is becoming increasingly well known as a stress management tool, with a wealth of celebrities, sports people and even royalty making claims about how it has helped them with everything from fear of flying to improving sports performance. It is a really easy-to-learn technique that needs no equipment and can be used anywhere to help alleviate ANY unwanted emotion.

During the 15 minute EFT energiser, participants will learn the basic tapping points in a fun way. We will begin by everyone trying to touch their toes and noticing where they feel tightness or restriction. After a couple of rounds of tapping, we will repeat the toe-touching and observe any changes the group notices in their bodies. This is participative exercise, with people’s contributions being included in the rounds of tapping. It is a great way to begin the day or as a pick-me-up when feeling sluggish.

The 45 minute EFT stress-busting workshop can include the toe-touching exercise, as a way of introducing the tapping points. The session covers a little of the background and uses of EFT and we complete a grounding exercise to ensure the safety of participants. This will be followed by a few rounds of tapping, inviting participants to focus on something that is creating stress for them. They will be guided to acknowledge and honour their uncomfortable emotions, in a safe way, and to notice whether they can feel these emotions in their body. A guided tapping will enable these emotions to be accepted and released.

Meet your host, Alice.

Alice is an EFT practitioner based in London. She gained a degree in Philosophy and Psychology from the University of Oxford before training and working as an actor. Through experiencing stress during this times, she discovered EFT. After seeing its’ benefits within her own life, she trained as a practitioner so she could share the technique with others. She now helps to empower people by introducing them to EFT in order to relieve stress and anxiety.

Alice is constantly furthering her learning so she can develop her work. She is currently undertaking a course that delves deeper into the systems that underly EFT. This expands her toolkit and gives her work a greater depth of knowledge and understanding.

What is EFT Tapping?

Similar to acupuncture, EFT focuses on the meridian points — or energy hot spots — to restore balance to your body’s energy. It’s believed that restoring this energy balance can relieve symptoms a negative experience or emotion may have caused.

Acupuncture uses needles to apply pressure to these energy points. EFT uses fingertip tapping to apply pressure.

Proponents say the tapping helps you access your body’s energy and send signals to the part of the brain that controls stress. They claim that stimulating the meridian points through EFT tapping can reduce the stress or negative emotion you feel from your issue, ultimately restoring balance to your disrupted energy.
