What is it? Gain an insight into this rich and beautiful visual language with a 60 minute session. Learn how to introduce yourself and finger-spell your name in this fun and interactive session. You can also choose to book 5 sessions for your team to develop their learning over a few weeks.
What does it entail? You will learn the basics of introducing yourself, spelling your name and other greetings. We have a maximum group size of 10 pax so that our instructor can see all participants. If you have a larger group, we can run multiple workshops for you.
How is it hosted? The workshop is hosted virtually via Zoom by one of our experienced teachers who is a profoundly deaf native BSL user.
How long is it? 60 minutes.
How much is it? £300 + VAT for a maximum of 10 pax. £600 + VAT for 5 sessions.
Who are your instructors?
Your instructors are experienced teachers from the Manchester Deaf Centre. They have years of experience in training BSL (British Sign Language).
Each participant in your team will have the full attention of our instructor and they will be able to correct and compliment everyone on their progress throughout the workshop. That is why our sessions are for maximum 10 guests!
However, we are able to run simultaneous workshops with our various hosts so that your team (if more than 10 pax) can be catered for.

In this one-off 60 minute taster workshop you will gain an insight into this rich and beautiful visual language. Learn how to introduce yourself and finger-spell your name in this fun and interactive session taught by one of our experienced teachers who is a profoundly deaf native BSL user.

Regular Classes.
If you would like to develop your sign language with your team over a few weeks, why not book our 5 session bundle? You will receive 5 x 60 minute workshops with our instructors and will give your team an amazing start and knowledge of sign language by the end.
It will provide an insight into this fascinating visual language, and equip you with the basic skills needed to engage in conversation with a BSL user. Content will include: names and finger-spelling, numbers and time, family and work.
