What is it? This smoothie workshop is both practical and educational. As well as making smoothies, you will learn how the body naturally detoxes and how we can help support this function.
How is it hosted? It is hosted on Zoom or another video platform by our chef Anne Marie.
What will you need? You will need to source the ingredients for your chosen smoothie and a blender.
How long is it? 60 minutes.

What will you learn?
On top of making your fresh fruit smoothie, you will also learn about how you can balance the sugar content of the fruit in your smoothies and what ingredients you can include to make your smoothies more interesting and nutritious. There will be a demonstration showing you how to make almond or oat milk from scratch plus ginger & turmeric tea.
What will you make?
You can either make the drinks alongside our chef, or enjoy watching the demonstration.
Smoothies.
Learn to make a delicious, nutritious smoothie from scratch. Choose from a number of options such as our Berry Oat Smoothie, Chia Seed Smoothie, Ginger & Turmeric Smoothie, Creamy Pineapple Smoothie, Supergreen Smoothie and much more. You will need access to a blender.
Nut/Oat Milks.
Learn how to make Aamond (and other kinds of nut) milk or oat milk. You will need access to a blender and to soak the nuts or oats overnight beforehand. Oat Milk is a great one to make alongside a smoothie as you can use the discarded oats in your smoothie for more fibre.
Ginger & Turmeric Tea.
Make delicious tea which contains Vitamin C as well as antioxidants and anti inflammatory properties. Help restore and improve blood circulation. Ginger may prevent fat from depositing in the arteries helping to prevent heart attacks and strokes. Turmeric helps to cleanse liver, boost immunity, and help with breaking down dietary fat and absorption of food.
