Educate Your Team This World Menopause Month.

Educate your team this October about menopause and create an inclusive environment.

World Menopause Awareness Month lands in October 2023 and it is a chance to educate people on menopause and most importantly spread awareness on how to tackle it whether you’re experiencing it or helping someone else. We encourage professionals and companies to participate in this global awareness raising campaign by organising events to engage their communities, and sharing World Menopause Day social media posts about these events. You can book one of these events on our platform, we have a wide range of talks and workshops that shed light on many different angles of menopause. All experiences are hosted by nutritionists and menopause experts.

October 18th is World Menopause Awareness Day and it has a theme every year. This year the theme is cardiovascular disease due to the fact that hormonal changes associated with menopause can have wide-ranging impacts on cardiovascular health. Our talks and workshops are a great way to shed light on symptoms and side effects such as this. It can be hugely impactful to invite staff members to share their own experiences of the menopause (if they feel comfortable) or to just share information with them to benefit their experiences and understanding of them.

Take a look at our activities for World Menopause Awareness Month and Day below, they are easy to facilitate and can be hosted both virtually and in-person for your team in the UK or across the globe.

Our experts.

Rebekah.

Rebekah was turned away by her GP because she was ‘too young’ to have symptoms of menopause and that her symptoms were most likely to be burn-out or depression. So, she found herself trawling the aisles of the local health food store, staring at a vast range of products and ingredients she knew nothing about. Curiosity cut through the brain fog. She looked further into the bio-chemical changes the female body goes through in menopause and started to take charge of her understanding. Armed with insight, and a growing sense of frustration that women were under-served with honest information and better options, she created her own supplement brand. With the learnings she’s taken from her years of research, Rebekah is now sharing her wealth of knowledge to educate women experiencing these changes, those who will experience the menopause in the future, and those who can support better with awareness.

Caroline.

Caroline is a Registered Nutritional Therapist. After being diagnosed with an autoimmune disease in 2012, she took radical changes and transformed her health, expanded her knowledge of her own body and found her passion: helping others develop understanding of their own health and supporting them through their journey. Her goal is for you to feel more energetic and live your life to its potential.

Whilst specialising in women’s health she supports her clients who suffer from a range of issues, including weight loss and maintenance, intolerances and digestion, metabolism and energy, sleep problems, menopause and much more.
